Good Times

Last weekend I was able to go and see some great friends from my freshmen year at CEU. It was so great seeing all those girls and their new families and what is going on in everyone's lives now that its been a few years since we were at CEU! Things have sure changed, but what I love is that we are still all really close. And it doesn't matter if we have seen each other for a year!! We had a such a great time that year and have some really great memories that I will never forget. Thanks girls for such a great time!

Some fun pictures......

I am so glad it isn't just me with Verizon. Sometimes I think I make to much out of something and question myself. We lived in Price from '01-'06 because Steve was promoted to Lieutenant with the Highway Patrol. (Then we were transferred to Cedar in '06 -3 months before we knew he was being deployed) I had heard of Price, but didn't even know where it was when we moved there. Trusting!! I've heard that people like CEU who didn't go to HS there. My oldest, Brie, cheered/danced at CEU '05-'06 so I probably saw you play when I watched her dance. I do recall seeing that someone was from Orderville and asked Brie if she knew who since I know people from there. She knew some guys on the boys team. A guy from CA on the team who talked "city". Did Tate play? I'm almost remembering something. Were you guys engaged that year? I think Brie may have known a Tate who was engaged. Now that I'm thinking, that sounds familiar because it was a different name. She may have known some one he roomed with. She was dating a guy she dated in HS - on and off, also attending CEU - non member, so she didn't branch out much. She dated others occasionally. I remember a Casey.
She wouldn't have minded a small college but they called it CEU High because they took so many classes there while in HS, so it still seemed like HS. She hated that whole year, mostly because she hated HS there and most of the girls on the Cheer/Songleading team went to HS with her. She just liked to dance. She was a very unhappy girl. Now she is very happily married and loves everything. Mikele hates Price, except the wave pool. Kass still goes back sometimes to visit friends. He is the only one who had good ones. The college president, Ryan Thomas, was our bishop when we moved and we loved him to death. He had been Kasses YM leader most of the time and we knew him well. Steve was in YM, too. His wife, Ann, was my visiting teaching partner almost the whole 5 years. And Brie's YW President. The north side of their house backed ours if the hill wasn't in the way. We were in the Coves of the hill. One of the ladies we visited was Cory Cottom's mom. Strange how some things go in circles.
