Mud Face

Kasen after eating quite a bit of mud! He really seemed to enjoy it though:) I just love this picture!! He is so silly!

Family Outing a.k.a Camping

Well, we didn't really finish up everything that Altamont Longhorn Days had to offer because Tate's familyhad a reunion that weekend. But we did drive back down from the mountain to go to the parade. I decided that I didn't really want to put Kasen on the float seeing how we both probably would have been miserable...but I did take a picture of the one that he was suppose to be on....it was a cute one! We had lots of fun up camping. Kasen ate lots of dirt and played in the water. I had a good time talking with all the family, losing Tate's money playing cards and eating some good food (that is until I started getting a toothache) I know what you are thinking...."Jana always has a toothache" and it sure feels that way to me too:) Anyway, So we camped until Sunday then came home and started getting things packed and ready to move to IDAHO! We are moving on Sunday cause Tate wants to move the cows up higher on the mountain or something like that, on Saturday!! So we are getting closer and closer to moving some of our stuff to Firth, then I am headed back to Southern Utah on Monday/Tuesday for my family reunion and to get other stuff to move from our storage unit! Boy, lots of traveling...But I am excitd to move and excited to go to Orderville for a while! I miss it there!!
Playing in the mud!

Kasen loves to lick everything lately...windows, walls, people...it doesn't really matter! Tate thinks its really gross...if you can't tell!

And Jentri thinks I never take pictures of her!

Moon Lake

It was getting cold and rainy! It was very beautiful though!

Altamont Longhorn Days

So, this whole week has been full of fun festivities that are here, called the Altamont Longhorn Days. It goes all week long, with every day being something new and fun to do. Monday we went and participated in the horse shoe contest. Tate's Dad and Uncle were in charge of it, so we pretty much had to go, but we wanted to anyway kind of. I asked Tate if he would be on my horseshoe throwing team. We didn't do so hot. It was lots of fun though to be there and have a nice fun game of horseshoes! Although, I did score more points for our team than Tate did;) We ended up losing our first game so we were out! Bummer!

PRINCE CHARMING

Tuesday morning they had a baby contest and so I took Kasen. It was so funny taking him to one of those. I am still having mixed feeling about those baby shows. But it was fun. Kasen was such a little angel and won everyone over and was voted the winner! He was crowned the cutest baby! He really was the cutest one there:) He did some cute things for the judges which surprised me cause I thought that he was going to get shy and stuff like he does sometimes when he gets around unfamiliar people. But we are very proud parents you could say cause he won:)
It was bad for me to be there though, because i was getting so competitive in my mind, like if he didn't win I would have been pretty upset!:) Whew!
3 on 3
Tuesday night, Tate, Me and Tate's brother Russel and his wife Bev (played at CEU a few years before me) we got our team together and participated in the annual 3 on 3 tourny! It was lots of fun. There were quite of few teams there and it took a long time, but we had a good time. It was fun playing all the boys from around there that thought they were all that and then would get upset if Bev or I scored or anything like that! We ended up winning the championship and got some nice coolers as prizes! it was just lots of fun playing with Tate and Bev and Russ. Its' fun when you play ball with people who are also competive and know what they are doing!!!
So this week is full of fun activities. That is all that we have done so far. We are going tobe in the parade now cause Kasen won, but that is on Saturday, so we have a couple of days to rest!
It's been a fun filled week!
Proud MOM!!

Leaving Memories
1. As you comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
I thought this looked fun!

Fun in the SUN

On Saturday we went out to a little lake called SandWash. Tate's sister Jentri and her husband have 2 jet ski's and lovingly let us come out and spend some time on them. It was alot of fun! We had a fun little cookout with the grill right there on the rocks...kind of redneck like, but it was alot of fun and good food! I tried out knee boarding and finally got up and was getting better and better....but since it took me so long to get up, I only did it 3 times by then I was worn out!! Tate was a pretty good knee boarder too! Much better than I!! Anyway, it was lots of fun! Thanks Jentri...I know you read this at work when you're bored;) ha ha.......
Kasen and Tate....their faces look exaclty alike I think!

Cute Family!

He loves his ice cream! :)

Happy 23rd

Well, I am officially getting older! I had such a good birthday. Tate was so sweet and excited for me! In the morning when he went to work he wished me Happy Birthday, then every other hour he would call and tell me Happy Birthday! Around 2 in the afternoon, he called and told me to listen to the radio for a while. I said, "okay" :) I have always wanted to have a song dedicated to me, and yesterday I got it! He dedicated me a song, by StereoFuse, called Everything. It's so cute cause it says, "Born on the 14th of July". Anyway that was so darn cute of my hubby. He also gave me an iPod shuffle so I can clip it on me while I run!! It is cute and orange! Then we took a nice little drive to one of my most favorite spots in the world, Rock creek and we saw a bull moose. It was aweseome. We got to test out Tate's new spotting scope and binoculars! It was a great birthday. THanks for all the calls and the love! Anyway, just wanted to say that I have the best cute Hubby! THanks Tate...Love you!

Fun Filled Weekend

This past weekend Tate and I went to visit his sisters that live in Logan and Brigham city. We spent the 4th in Shanna's (sister in law) back yard having a bbq and lighting off fireworks. It was a good time...even though most of the kids only really liked the sparklers. The other stuff was too noisy! Then we drove to Firth Idaho, where we are going to be living in a couple of weeks to look for a place to live. We didn't really find that much variety and hope that we are goin to be able to find a place!! Thanks to Meag and Lauren we have a couple of options! Then we went and spent some time up at the lodge with the Jones' family. They were aweseome and so nice and gracious to let us stay there! THANKS:) We then drove back to Brigham and stayed with Shanna. We got up in the morning and decided that we wanted to go to lagoon. I was so excited. I haven't been able to do that kind of stuff for some time and I loved it! We rode Wicked, the Colossus, the one that shoots you up in the air, and some other littler rides. We would have rode more and more but we needed to get home! But it was a fun day, and Thanks to Shana and Kory for watching Kasen while we rode all the rides! Thanks to Jamie for hookin' us up! We had fun! But like always it's so nice to just be "home". I dolike going places but do love coming back home where things are more stable! Now I get to work on making my quilt that I am making and hangin out with Kasen!

Me and Hannah on the DRAGON! It was so intense!

I think that Kasen liked riding the carasoul. You couldn't tell by his face though...just trying to take it all in!

This was so pretty. This is my backyard at Tate's house. The picture doesn't do it justice!

Me taking pictures of the flowers while I was waiting for Tate to find where we were on the mountains!

After my jog, Kasen kept licking my leg. I guess that he thought the dirt and sweat tasted really good!

The nice elk that is in the Jones' cabin. Tate really LOVED it:)

Riding the 4-wheeler!

We was drinking from his sippy cup while it was on the table. Quite the emprovisor!
