Idaho Here I come

So I have been away from Tate for almost 2 weeks now and it has been so hard! He has been in Idaho working and killing all the mice in our new house, while I have been traveling all over. So the day has finally come when I will be going over to Cedar City in a few hours and renting a Uhaul and packing up our stuff and heading to Idaho!!! Yeah! I am so excited. I was going to wait until tomorrow, but I just cant wait any longer! Poor little Kasen is probably so sick of driving in the car, but I have to make him go on one last long trip!
I can't wait to be in Idaho to hang out with Meagan and the Jones' family! I am excited about Kathy teaching a fitness class, so hopefully I can get my bootie in gear. I have been struggling very bad with training for the 1/2 marathon these past couple of weeks cause my face has hurt so bad. I am really hoping that I will still be able to do this...It's coming on fast...Like less than 2 weeks! Yikes!

New Hair

So my new hair cut and color! Michelle did it for me as usual. I reall like it. There is a little bit of red in it and it's dark like I wanted it. We stayed up until like 1 in the morning doing it! Thanks so much, Chelle! Love it!

Overwhelmed

I couldn't go without saying something that has happened to me these past 3 days. As we all know, I have been having a little "trouble" with my tooth (#14) and needed to have a re-treatment of a root canal on it. Well, endodontists don't come cheap nor do they have any kind of payment plans for poor people like me. So I was dead set on just getting my tooth pulled....that would solve the problem, and cheap! Well, little did I know that my GREAT cousin Howard just happens to be an excellent endodontist. So my Uncle Lee told him about all of my troubles and when he got to the family reunion he told me just to drive on down to Yuma, AZ and he would take care of me. So, I took him up on his offer. My dad drove me to Las Vegas NV, where I got in with my Uncle Lee, Aunt Joyce and cousin Katie and we made the trek 5 hours from Vegas to Yuma. Aunt Joyce and I had quite a nice snug ride in the back and had some really good talks. It was so great getting know them a little better seeing how they all lived in Vegas and I didn't really get to know them as well as Iwould have liked! So, I got there and got in the dentist chair and Howard worked his magic and found a canal that had been missed by the dentist who first did my tooth. Hopefully it will heal and I won't have to get the surgery done for a while, but if it doesn't then i will head back down to Yuma and get the surgery on my dumb tooth!

Anyway, the real purpose of this post is to publically tell Everyone that I am extremely overwhelmed with the kindness, love and generosity that my family has shown me. I cannot describe into words how wonderful of a family that I have. They are truly an answer to lots of prayers and I can't imagine how I can ever repay them. Everytime I start to even think about how they have helped me I just start to cry....my heart is so full of love and thankfulness for the Sorensens! THANK YOU... Anyway, it's just another testament of how important families are and how great of a family I have...Probably the best in all the world! I am so grateful for Eternal Families!!
Thanks Howard, Susan, Sara, Aunt Joyce, Uncle Lee, Katie and Benji the Dog (for entertaining Kasen) And thanks to my dad for taking me everywhere and doing anything I ever need! I love you! During the procudure! Crazy!

Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous about this one at first...Sara looked a little too excited to ahve that drill so close to my face!

The great endodontist in the background! And me being a little less nervous!

Family Reunion..Lots of pictures!

Last weekend I drove down to Orderville with my sister Linda and stayed with my parents for a few days and went to our family reunion. It was so much fun seeing everyone. All of my family was there besides David and most of the husbands, so I guess I should just say all the sisters, which doesn't happen very often so it was so much fun and crazy being together! We went and visited my Grandma Glover who is in the Care Center in Kanab. She had such a good day while we were there. It's always nice to go and visit her and have her know you and talk with you! She visited with us and kept telling Bev, "not to run over her kids while they were playing on the floor!" She told us how handsome her husband was and how much she missed him, that made us cry of course! She is such a sweet lady! Even while in such pain.

We had alot of good food and lots of fun. I like re-learning all the family histories and about Orderville that I should know by heart, but don't. It was a good weekend!
Hiking in Zion. We went and hike the short hike of Weeping Rock. It was quite a treck because we had Colt and Kasen in a double stroller and strolled them up that hill...I don't know why we did that...cause it was harder than it should have been. But it was fun and beautiful as usual up there!
Kasen liked the rocks....and the water.....and the people! He was very friendly!
Riding the shuttle. It was a long hot ride on those buses but we finally made it home!
Me and Grandma Glover! She is so sweet! Although it's very hard seeing her there, it's always so GREAT going and visiting!
Kasen and his 2nd cousin Jace! He loved being around all the boys and all the boy toys that Michelle has! He had a Great time!

Kasen and his Grandma and Grandpa Glover! Dont' you love my dad's shirt? I do!:)

The cousin Girls that are all around the same age....We are missing a couple but these are some of the most important....I know Ashley...so are you!

The young kids with Grandma and Grandpa. Poor Kasen is so sick! He had such a high fever and I just kept making him take pictures!

Colt loves puppies! He kept trying to hold them and take them to his mom. He kept yelling and being so excited about all these cute little hounds!! He loves them!

Chipmunk

I know that this is a little gross, but I just needed to post a picture of what happened to me today. I have been having a major tooth problem for about 2 weeks now, and I thought that I had it fixed....well apparently not. I finally got to sleep last night and when I woke up at 4 in the morning this is what my face looked like. I look so horrible but just try to bypass that and look at the swollen ness of my cheek. I think that I would honestly rather have a baby again than go through this! I couldn't belive how swollen I had gotten. Anyway, so I called my old great Bishop Atwood from price and we drove over there today. He is so great and is so willing to help me with my teeth problems. He tried to numb me but there is just too much swelling and so he jus had to go in there and pop my cheek if you will, and there was tons of puss that came out. It hurt pretty freakin' bad! Anyway, as of right now, I am on some good meds and some antibiotics that will hopefully take the swelling down, which has gone down a little so far. But now I have to go to an endodontist. If any of you know of a good endodontist that is cheap and good and nice, then let me know. I am hopefully going to get this thing fixed by Tues or Wed so I can go to Orderville and be with my family for our reunion! anyway, here I am ......
