Cupcake Party

On Valentines we had a fun little party with Kasen's friends, and let's face it...my friends who are their moms:) I made cupcakes and they came on over to the house to decorate and play. It's funny becuase you can definately tell boy and girl personalities. The boys got their cupcakes, smothered tons of frosting on them, sprinkled a few sprinkles and then went downstairs to play with the tools and trucks. The girls were at the table pretty much the whole time wanting their moms to make designs and pretty's and swirlies. It was fun. I love having our basement be a TOY room. It's just so nice to be able to have all the toys down there and just run ramped, just play play play.
On another note, today I totally thought that Daisha had finally figured out how to roll over. Nope, I dont' think so. This morning I put her on her tummy to have some much needed tummy time while I was getting ready for exercise class. I came back and she was happlily on her back. I was so excited. but the more I watch her and see her while she is on her tummy, the more I think that Kasen went over and "helped" her roll over to her back. I asked Kasen if he helped her, but he continues to tell me that he didn't. So I guess, we will see!!
Here is Daisha's first little taste of rice cereal. I think that she will really like it. I was giving it to her when she was both tired and hungry and wasnt' really wanting to settle for anything less than the breast. So, I did what every mom would do, just give up the rice cereal and feed my baby girl. I am going to be trying again. I did actually give her a taste of my pudding the other day and she really really enjoyed that...go figure:)

Here They are all besides 2 friends. It was fun. I sure enjoy these cute little guys hanging around. I love getting to know people up here and spending time with them.

Kasen and his "Antlers"
Oh...Apparently he wears them everywhere...not everywhere, but we do tend to play elk hunting quite often. I know that they are not elk horns but he doesn't know that and that is what his dad told them they were, so from here on out...they are elk horns.
I love my intense little BOY....all boy! I think that is one of his many mean, growl, I am going to eat you up faces!

4 Months Old

Daisha turned 4 months old on the 6th. Where does the time go? Hum lets think...wake up, feed, play, feed, nap, feed, play, nap, feed, play, feed go to sleep all by 6:30 - 7:00 ish p.m. The day after she turned 4 months old she started sleeping pretty much through the night. I put her to bed at 7:00 then "dream feed" (feed her while she is still asleep) right before I go to bed around 10 - 10:30 ish. Then she sleeps pretty much til 6 or 7 then I feed her again and she goes back to sleep until 9. She has been doing that pretty much all week. I hope she keeps it up:) Now only if Kasen and her can both sleep the whole night thru at the same time:) I don't have much to complain about, I have pretty amazing kids.

Daisha has found her toes. She loves to grab them and then she gets really excited about something and lets go then concentrates really hard to find them again.

She has also found her thumb. She is Always always chewing on her hands and somehow she figured out that she can suck on her thumb. She doesn't do it all the time, but once in a while she will comfort herself for a few minutes while sucking her thumb.

She is a sweet little girl. Although she is quite the momma's girl already. The other night I went to the gym and the whole entire hour I was gone, Tate said that she cried and screamed. He tried pretty much everything to comfort her. At about 20 minutes into my run, I get a text from her Dad...."She hates me." The second I got home and she heard my voice she stopped crying and I held her and she was just fine, happy and playing. She is getting spoiled too, I put her down to do something like cleaning or making dinner and she can barely stand it for only 3 or 4 minutes before making little noises and starting to think that she is being neglected. I am not sure what to do about her:)

STATS: Head = 16.5 Weight = 15 lbs. Height = 26 1/2

Check It

My wonderful, most amazing, inspiring Sister in law. (just one of them:) Shanna has had an amazing journey with weight loss. I made this video for her and entered her into a Ragnar Relay/Biggest Loser contest. Don't mind the part where I am talking, It's awkward. But her story is truly amazing. I didn't have enough time in my 2 minute video to tell her whole story, but hopefully this gives you an idea of it!
