Caption Update

I am going to try and update all my pictures on here from the summer until now!  I have been pretty bad at blogging lately, not a big secret, I just always feel like if I don't have some good cute pictures to go along then it's not worth the blog, but it really is.  I love to read what I have written, pictures or not pictures.  But here is an update for the month of August.  Wherever that month went?  I am not sure, but I am determined to get it all caught up because it's already halfway through september.  Boy, that went faster than I always think it will.
The kids got alot of jumping in when we went to Orderville for a week.  We had a Jim and Wanda Glover family reunion and I was able to visit with some close friends while there, it was a good trip.
Kasen got to play with his cousin Dexton, who he doesn't get to see very often so it was fun to have them get to play together.
It was Kye's birthday the next weekend, so they had a little party for him and Jimmy Joe, who's birthday it was that exact day.
Daisha giving the pinata a nice big whack.
 James giving it a try.
Kasen trying his best to open up all the candy.

 Success!!!
Not sure what Daisha is thinking but it's probably something around the lines of wanting to open presents and not getting to.
Kye James sitting in Grandma Jacque's big bowl.  He was loving his cake and the little party.
Daisha and Rossi loved pretending to go to sleep with their babies.
Whenever we go to Orderville we have to hit up the town swimming pool.  They had a fun time going from the little pool to the big pool.
Daisha always finds the mud.  It keeps her busy for a while and she loves to have the bath afterwards.
The story about the mud is a funny one now that it's all cleaned up.  Kenna and I went to the store on a coke run while leaving Daisha and Rossi playing in the mud with the other kids playing all around.  I didn't think much of it.  When we came back, we didn't see them in the mud hole, so I thought that they had moved on to something else to play with.  Little did I know that I had missed them completely sitting in the car that belongs to Uncle Ken and Aunt Karen.  I didn't see them initially, but when I came  back around the house looking for Daisha  I could see her and Rossi sitting in the front seat chowing down on their traveling treats.  THey had crawled inside their car, and gotten it super muddy everywhere.  We had quite the time cleaning up all the mud inside and out of their vehicle.  oops
 Kids do the darndest things:)
 Playing in the water!
Little James didn't want to go to sleep in the house.  He had been playing and playing when I walked outside all the other kids were gone and he was dead asleep on the trampoline.  He got in a good little nap before getting woke up by all the other big kids.
We set up the huge slip and slide at the park during the reunion and Daisha had more fun playing in the bubbles than in sliding down the slide. But either way, it was fun for a little bit until they all got really cold and didn't think that was fun at all.

Yummy Bubbles.  She wouldn't stop eating them.
Kasen liked going down the slide.  He got more brave each time he would go down.
I just LOVE this little FACE!  She makes the cutest little faces.
Some of the crew gathered around.  Kasen couldn't help but get a little sampling of the root beer before we officially started eating dinner.  I can't blame him.  Grandpa's homemade rootbeer is the best!!!
McKenna being too cool for school.
Here are the Glover Brothers.  I just really really love the Glover side of the family.   (love the sorensen side too)  But there is something about my uncles that I just really love.  They are so loving and kind.

We got hopped in the car with the Jolly family and headed to Ross Park.  It was alot of fun and it is always so much fun being with them.  They treat my kids so kindly and lovingly.  We always have a great time with the Jolly's.
The kid part of the park is the best.  It's the perfect depth and lots of fun things to do.
Ayesha and Daisha.  She is the best big sister ever!  Daisha adores Esha and loves that she is loved by her!

Half of July

In July we had a fun time.  Some of these pictures indicate what happened during July and I think even June, I am quite behind, but hoping to get caught up here shortly.
Just a quick picture of my kids, I think that we were headed out to visit someone as they are sititng on the pack and play, or I just hadn't put it away from visiting.
Daisha was hit hard with hand, foot and mouth disease.  I had not a clue of what that was, hadn't even heard of it until I took her into the dr. and she took one look at her and said immediately what she had.  She had sores everywhere on her little body, then a few weeks past started to get feeling better and then her hands and feet started peeling, the skin was just coming off in big chunks.  Now, her toenails are coming off, not all of them have come off, but most of her toenails and a few of her fingernails have come off.  I hadn't a clue that it had this many side effects and would last forever!
For the 4th of July, we celebrated by going to the community breakfast which was fabulous.  It reminded me a little bit of Orderville and I liked that.  WE listened to the orchestra play patriotic songs and visited with friends.
Later in the day we went over to the Jolly household for some great fun, the kids and adults both played games and then had a bbq and just visited.  the kids had a great time.  it was fun because DeAnna came and stayed for a few days with us so they came to enjoy the party too.
Daisha enjoying the bike, which she always thinks is hers.
The cousins enjoying a firework show from our lawn.  WE had a few neighbors that lit off quite a few good fireworks and we were able to benefit and enjoy the show from home in our pajamas.
We couldn't light the sparklers fast enough.  They had a good time dancing and showing off their sparkler skills.
Daish liked them too.
Kasen likes to keep them as far from everything as possible and always has.
We went camping and had a good time in our little camper.  We inherited this awesome backpack and I tried it out.  Daisha liked it alot and it was a good thing that we didn't go far because she is kinda heavy.  But we had a good little hike.
Kasen brought his gun along just in case he saw a squirrel or a bird or something to try and shoot at.
Eating a nice dinner out in the great outdoors.
WE had a fun time going to Ross Park in Pocatello with some friends.  We had to keep getting in and out of the pool because of the thunder and lightning but eventually we were able to get a good long swim in without having to get out.  Kasen had a blast and so did Daisha.  She was quite fearless when it came to the slide and all the kids everywhere, so next time for sure I will be getting her a little floaty of some sort.
Kasen went on a streak where he would build him a fort from Daisha's tiny little baby seat/toy jumper thingy.  He slept under it for almost a whole week.  Not sure why, it seemed pretty cramped in there but he loved it.
That is a few things that i have taken pictures of this summer. Seems like we don't really do much besides the every day life we live.  WE have enjoyed gardening and letting our weeds get much too big, but we have enjoyed reaping the benefits of regular water, and gotten a good pea patch this year.  soon our corn will be ready and so will our potatoes.  Yum.
More of July to come.  I need to catch up so I can hopefully stay caught up with life.  Soon Kasen will start pre-school and life will get a bit more routine with Tate off to guiding season.  Which starts a little to early it seems like, always goes by fast.  Life is good.

Is 4 Too Young?

I often asked myself if 4 was a little too young to give your boy a bb gun.  Well, I guess not because Kasen received his 1st little gun a few weeks ago.  this was tates when he was a little boy and brought it back to Idaho with us from his parents house.  It was really fun and exciting.  Tate and Kasen were out in the back yard for a while learning about how to shoot guns.  Tate really did an extensive gun safety training and every time he shoots it has to recite all the rules of gun safety.

 Aiming at the target.
He isn't quite strong enough yet to caulk the gun yet, so Dad has to help out.
Showing Kasen where the safety of the gun is.  They had a fun time.

Ragnar 12

Our family did Ragnar again this year.  It's always a good time being together with a bunch of girls in a van for 2 days, sweaty, tired, sore.  It's especially good for me to keep me motivated to keep running, because obviously being healthy isn't enough for me:)  I initially wasn't going to be able to run because we were going to be gone, but lucky for me, not for my brother in law who got injured, I was able to take his place.  It was awesome!
Shanna and I.  The original Ragnarians:)  Sure do love that sister in law of mine!
Jentri, Me and Shanna just waiting at an exchange.  Jentri is about 15 weeks pregnant right here, and she totally rocked every single one of her legs.  I really did luck out when it came to in laws.  Mine are the best!
So after the race, we went to a yummy place to eat in park city, which I can't remember the name of it right now, but I was walking back out to our van, and heard this laugh, which was a very distinct Misty Griffiths laugh, I looked around and couldn't see her so just went on my way.  We then got seated and ordered our food, when I heard.  "Jana?"  I looked up and sure enough, there was Misty.  I knew I had heard her:)  It was fun to run into her, i ran into her last year at Ragnar, and that is always so much fun!  She is great!
Our entire team at the finish line.  I don't remember what time we finished, but I do know that we finished:)
Van number 1.  We rocked!

A while Back

A while back, Kasen got to go to Father's and Sons, which he so cutely refers to as "boys camp, no girls allowed mom."  He had been looking forward to boys camp since last year and I am so glad that Tate was able to take him.  It was cute watching Kasen get everything ready to go and get things in the camper.  They stayed nice and dry that night during the rain storm, and he had alot of fun.
A while back, one of my most dearest friends, Kaylynn, came to visit me.  She is living in Moscow and luckily her husband was going to be gone for 6 weeks for school, and so she decided to take a drive to see me.  I couldn't have been happier.  It was such a fun week spent with her.  She has 2 beautiful little girls now, and we got to get to know them and play with them.  Such fun.
A while back while Kaylynn was here, we did some more minnow catching, although on this particular day the minnows were not out.  We couldn't spot them anywhere.  Darn!
A while back, Kaylynn and I met the cutest ever Twinners in Blackfoot and Kaylynn decided she would catch herself some minnows with just a little cup.  Leave it to her to stand in the water forever and be patient and actually catch one.  Those suckers are fast.  She is quite the fisherlady.
A while back, Daisha decided to smile this way, with a big, cheesy grin, and yell "cheese" as loud as she could to the camera.  She is pretty cute.
A while back, I got this cool camera that does the color effect on pictures while I am taking them, so I got this adorable one of Melissa snapping a picture of something really cute, seeing how she is showing them how it's done to smile!!!
Here we all are, some great friends, who have managed to keep in touch a little bit throughout the years.  Our kiddos, We all have 2 each which makes it a fun, relaxing time when you are wanting to visit and catch up:)
 Melissa and Kaylynn.
 Me and Melissa
Me and Meag.  Luckily, we decided that we wanted to live by each other. So we both moved to Firth Idaho, well, I actually followed her there, but that is beside the point.  We somehow manage to keep in touch with each other while being 6 minutes away from each other.  She is quite awesome and is a great running partner who slows down her pace to stick with me.  She is nice like that.
Me and Kaylynn.  We grew really close to each other during our 2 years at CEU.   She really is such an awesome person and I am lucky to have these ladies as friends!
 Our 2nd year at school.
A while back we all became close friends.  I am pretty lucky!  Love em!
