wedding

Us at Jer's wedding! Kasen didn't want to stop throwing rocks and playing in the dirt.

Brit, Jos, and Bev....cute pic!

My favorite Brothers! Congrats Jer we love you. And David the best man! The best brothers in the world!
The New Glover Family! All of us besides one brother in law were in the picture and able to make it to the wedding. Luckily, he came later and they are going to photoshop him in the real picture. Yeah, we love our new nieces and nephew and sister in law! We are so lucky! Jerry did good:)
My big boy. He played all during the wedding throwing rocks and playing in the dirt. He wasn't very clean for most of the pictures! Oh well!

The sisters....minus Linda. During the wedding ceremony. I saw Aunt Liz taking pictures so struck a pose!:) It was so beautiful!
My newest niece Kirsten and her Daddy Scott! I am so excited to be able to go and spend some time with them in 6 days! I love you guys!

I could not ask for more!

We have had a fun and busy last few weeks. Between Easter, My older brother Jerry getting married, nephew birthday parties, sleepovers, and Tate's graduation it's been a blast! Here is what has been going on!!!

Coloring the Easter Eggs with Dad!
Most of the grandkids coloring away. Thank goodness it stayed at least warm enough to be outside for a bit. After it stopped hailing of course!
Kasen finding his Eggs. We had been preparing him for a few days before so he knew exactly what was in those eggs that he was finding!!
Breaking open his eggs. He had to open every egg before he would go and try to find another one. We tried to keep him from eating the candy too, but he was pretty quick!:)
Tate building his Easter Egg trail. The people that stopped by voted that his was the winner. It was alot of fun...cold...but fun! He got extra points because he made the trail through all the trees and brush. Good for effect!
On our way to a picnic at white sands. We all loaded up in the back of the truck and headed out to play in the dirt. It was so nice and warm! The kids loved running down the sand and eating it head first.
Kasen was wearing Aunt DeAnna's hat and wouldn't give it back to her. He wore it like this for a while peeking through the whole in the back...it was funny!
Colt, one of Kasen's FAVE cousins, was eating dirt and showing Kasen how to do the same. It was so funny.
I was able to go to one best friends,Courtney's, wedding bash. She is getting married next weekend and I am so excited for her, We had fun talking and hanging out like old times. It's so nice to be able to get together with friennds and just chat!
Kasen loves getting "up" on top of everything. He loves to turn the water on and play and play in it. One day, Tate just decided that he could just get all the way in if he wanted to get everything else wet including himself. He had a BLAST...and now wants to do it all the time. Thanks Tate!!!
Kasen and Colt having a bath when they came to sleep over a few weekends ago. They had so so much fun. I love Kasen being able to play with his cousins.
Kasen at Ruger's birthday party. this is where he was most of the time in the garden playing in the dirt and with the hoe.
Sweet Kimber. During Ice cream and cake time she just pulled up her chair, went where no one was bothering her and put up her feet and relaxed while she ate her ice cream and cake. it was awesome! She is so dang cute!
Grandpa playing with Kasen adn Colt. SO FUN!
Splashing in the pool this past weekend for Tate's graduation. He didn't get to far in the water, he was a little nervous about all the water and all the people. So he just stayed on his step and splashed away. He had fun!
he would splash then laugh and laugh. I can't belive how big my baby is! It's so crazy!
Tate's graduation. Him and clayton walking to their seats. It was cool because Pres. MOnson was their commencement speaker and it was just really neat to see him in that setting and even though it wasn't church organized or anything I could feel his spirit radiating and it was just so neat to be so close to him. He gave a great speech and was really fun!
Me and my MAN! I am so proud of him and that he has graduated. I am pretty sure that he is the first guy to graduate in his family. Yeah! Good job BABE!

BAD BLOGGER

I am sitting here thinking about how much I need to update my blog. I am really bad lately. We have been having so much fun and taking so many pictures it's just almost too hard. A brief update: We went to Easter with my family, went to my brother's wedding, had a blast with all my family at the wedding and getting my new sister in law whom we ADORE! Been busy with school/finals, cleaning my house, playing outside in the warm sunshine, playing with Cousins and wishing that I had uploaded my pictures on this computer so I could post a few of them right now! That will have to come shortly! I mosty just needed to apologize for how horrible I have been lately.....I have become one of those people who I click on their blogs and get annoyed because they havent updated theirs FOREVER! So I am sorry!
Life is fun. Tate is graduating soon and I am so excited for him. His family is going to be joining us this weekend for the Graduation festivities. I am excited! It's going to be alot of fun. Especially if the weather is nice! Kasen is growing so much and getting so big. His new thing to say to me is, "No, Way". He is talking more and more and doing the funniest things. He loves to hide and run away from us chasing him. He refuses to sit in any high chair and must sit at the table like all the other kids. He loves his cousins Colt, Ruger, and Kimber and especially his Aunt DeAnna, and even Bert. He absolutely adores his grandpas and grandmas!! He hardly has any pants that fit him anymore and I just haven't went to get him some bigger clothes..he is growing so fast. He is beginning to say, "I pooped" when his diaper is dirty which totally shocks Tate and I everytime he says it. It's hilarious! We love him. He is the best! So much more I could say about him, but it's late!

The only pic I took at the concert! Just us!

We are once again up in Talmage visiting Tate's parents. It's so much fun coming here. They are so great. WE also got to go to Salt Lake last night and go to a New Found Glory concert. It was pretty fun. Although I am so glad that we were over 21 and got to go up stairs and not be down where all the fighting was going on. I am not kidding you I saw so many things last night with the mixed emotions of Out of place, laughter, throw up, WOW, and a bunch of others I can't think of or even describe at this moment.
* Out of Place - standing in line to get into the place. I definately felt a little out of place with the people who were there. We kind of stood out really bad. We didnt' have any piercings, tatoos, black clothes, or smoking...it was a little awkward!
*Laughter - When the first opening band came on they were a hard rock band, which I wasn't impressed with at all, but the laughter part comes in is with the dancing of the people down on the floor by the stage. I am not kidding you it was so funny to me. These boys were like throwing their arms around like crazy and kicking everywhere and seriously like going crazy. They would hit people then the people would get into fights and it was so crazy. I just can't really describe it.....it was funny~!
* Throw up - so the first time in my life I saw two men kissing and groping each other. It seriously made me want to throw up! That's all I probably need to say about that!
* WOW - My ears are still ringing from all the loud music that was there. it was a good thing that I knew the songs of New Found Glory or it would have not been fun because the rest of the bands I had no idea of what was said and it was just loud mumbo jumbo!
Anyway, it was still lots of fun. A bunch of our friends came too and so it was good to hang out with them. Some of them went down by the stage where all the craziness was going on and I am glad that Tate didn't go.....I was a little nervous. I am not kidding you at least 6 fights broke out and they stopped singing and had to break it up and everything!!
Here are some fun pictures of our last trip to Talmage and with the Family. I have one picture of us at the conert that I am going to try and post.
I think that this was taken at my sis in laws house while they were blessing their new baby girl. It is just funny because my nephew Trace (the one with the mircophone) was singing rock and roll and being reallycute!
Tate and his good friend Shay. This was the first time we got to see their boy Bowden! He is so cute!
All the boys at grandmas eating lunch. Not all in the family but all that were there at the time.
This is Chase. Everytime Kasen looks at this picture he smiles and says Chase! I just have cute nephews and nieces! That's all!
Here we are at home painting! Kasen loves to squish the paint between his fingers and get it all over. It's a very fun activity!!

Day 4

Towards the end of our trip. Tonight we went to visit a few people after we went to the beach.

This is such a pretty place that Tate took me. It's up a really big hill with lots of houses that are big and pretty. UP here close by is where the church house is that he attended in Ventura. Just beautiful!

This is Grandma Smith. She was so nice and her son gave us some apple pie and bread. It was delicious. One great thing about Grandma Smith is that she made Tate a nice big afghan and also made all his sisters who were pregnant at the time little baby blankets for them when they went to get him from his mission.

Okay so the next family that we finally got to meet after Tate finally found where he was going:) ha ha..I was pretty proud of him actually he only got lost one time and that was after not being in any area for 5 years. He did great. Okay anyway I got to meet Sherri and Don! yeah look at this they had an avacado tree and a orange tree and a tangerine tree. I was in absolute heaven pretty much becuase of this avacado tree! I wish I could have one of those in my back yard!

Here is the Great family! They made us such a wonderful dinner of tri-tip steak and awesome guacomole dip! Yum Yum! I guess Tri-tip stake is really known around those parts and let me tell you it was delicious!
Sherrie was so nice when we got there she had bought Kasen a little puppy and a t-shirt for his happy half birthday and even wrapped up the t-shirt so he could open it. She was so nice! Kasen seriously loves that puppy now. We named it copper and he slept with it as you will see later the rest of the trip and on other rides since we have been home.
Donna and Pete! Another fun family that was so great to Tate!

Kasen with the puppy copper. He really did like him but I just took the picture at the wrong moment. And Pete. He was nice and taught Kasen how to say, Yum yum Yum while shaking his head while eating a delicious cupcake!

Kasen with his new puppy copper. This was after we had visited all the families and he was such a good boy he seriously just was out. Of course it was like 11 at night and ever since then his routine has been so screwed up but hey...we had fun visiting!

Backwords and The Beach

Sorry these posts are going to be all backwords because I am not sure how to rearrange them on my post thingy. I thought that I did, but I guess I forgot.
But here we go on Day 4. Today we went to the beach for a few hours. It was really fun but kind of windy. We didn't really get into the water because it was freezing but we did put our feet in a little bit. I flew a kite and Kasen ran around and chased birds. IT was a great day! This was Kasen's absolutely favorite thing at the Beach. Was the sidewalk with water that came out of nowhere! He didn't want to leave. We went there on our way to the beach then we had to force him to come to the sandy part and to the ocean.

Just relaxing in the somewhat warm weather. Kasen enjoying a cracker. He would get sand on his hands and totally freak out. We spent most of the time trying to get all the sand off his hands because he would trip and brace himself with his hands, which then got all sandy, which then led to trying to get it off. And it isn't that easy...it was the sticky type of sand that you could never get off! And it was twice as hard getting it out of his diaper! Poor BUM!

Cute picture of Kasen and Tate. I love pictures with Kasen and his Daddy. I think that they are so special.

Another pic of the fun water! He would be surprised everytime it would come back up.

Close to the beach. He didn't like getting very close because he was a little afraid of the water. Plus it was really cold on the toes. He would start to creep closer then hurry and run away from the on coming waves. It was fun to watch him!

Trying to make our way back to the car, he absolutely needed to stop once again at the water that he loves!

The Beach!

Stacy trying to help Kasen get the sand off his hands. It was an ongoing process!
